Computer virus hampers town employees in southeast American state
Officials within the southeast American state town of Beatrice are functioning on restoring phone and net service lost to the work of a hacker.
City administrator Tobias Tempelmeyer says it looks a bug was put in around 3:30 Monday morning. He same Tues that town departments lost phone and net service within the downtown, as well as hall, the Beatrice local department and town area, that homes Beatrice hearth and Rescue.
The virus failed to have an effect on 911 dispatch, that uses a unique network.
Tempelmeyer says the disruption forced police and rescue employees to jot down reports by hand, instead of submitting them on-line.
